Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family grew up in Switzerland Melbourne Jabiru a small mining town located in the Northern Territory and Cairns Australia. Isabel attended school alongside Nina and children from different backgrounds, such as First Nations. Isabel lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel had been involved in drama since her school days. She was a student at the the Queensland Institute of Technology. She also attended the Victorian College of the Arts as well as Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. Her agent discovered her in 2002. She'd never attempted to audition for a part before. She auditioned in the role in Home and Away in 1988. They didn't think she was right to be in the role, but they were impressed with her performance and decided to give Tasha an opportunity to play the part.
